Ciao….. come và oggi ragazze…. In questo periodo di fatiche economiche e lavorative mi sforzo di mantenere il buon umore. Accontentarsi in genere è sintomo di poco carattere e pochi stimoli, ma vista dal lato opposto credo che chi si accontenta delle piccole cose, sappia anche vivere meglio. Spesso siamo sempre alla ricerca di qualcosa di nuovo, ed è proprio il cercare soddisfazioni materiale che ci porta ad essere sempre meno soddisfatti di ciò che abbiamo. Quando penso che ho un marito con cui stò bene, che la mia famiglia grazie a Dio di grossi problemi non ne ha, dovrei sentirmi appagata…a volte non è cosi.. Ok..adesso però cambiamo registro.

Tutto questo miscuglio di foto rende l’idea di quanto lo sono le mie in merito ad un progetto che stò pian piano elaborando. Vi ricordate quando vi scrissi che spesso ciò che penso di poter realizzare poi nella realtà non risulta cosi facile o anche fattibile. Ecco, questo ne è un esempio lampante.

Dovete sapere, care mie follower , che devo assolutamente decidere come fare l’album per le foto di nozze che al momento si trovano al sicuro nell’armadio in una busta.

Non me ne rendo conto ma spesso lancio sfide a me stessa e questa mi coinvolge molto.

All this mixture of photos gives an idea of what they are on my to a project that I'm slowly working on. Remember when I wrote that often what I think I can make then in reality is not so easy or even feasible. Here, this is one example.

Dagli ingredienti si evince che devo dipingere sulla soffa (e qui inizia il bello) , la stessa delle bomboniere, sulla quale vorrei creare una cornice ovale (ancora da scegliere) facile da fare e non troppo invadente, con al centro le iniziali degli sposi. Il tutto và finito con i fiocchi di neve (o solo all’interno della corinice o solo all’esterno) che avevo dipinto anche sui sacchetti. Se lo spazio lo permette, metterei in piccolo anche la data.

Il tutto è ancora in fase di progettazione… se c’è qualcuno che ha dei consigli li accetto volentieri. Vi terrò informate sugli sviluppi…

Dopo aver pubblicato il tutorial dei pon pon di carta di Marta Stewart mi sono resa di conto di quanto vi piacciano i tutorial e di quanto piacciano anche a me. Per noi crafter riuscire a preparare i dettagli e le decorazioni per un festa o per una cena è una vera soddisfazione..almeno per me è cosi. Stupire i propri ospiti con qualcosa di insolito e fatto a mano appaga molto autostima che ame un po manca.

Oggi un'altra veloce idea. Procuratevi acquerelli carta da pacco e fogli bianchi. Disegante la sagome di un cuore a mano libera, con un righello divideteil cuore in tanti piccoli triangoli oopure anche con disegni indefiniti e iriregolari poi dipingete scegliendo la palette di colori che preferite qua e là in modo irregolare

IDEAS FOR VALENTINES DAY- PART 2

Chi mi conosce bene conosce anche la mia passione sfrenata per i cuori. Anche se non festeggio San Valentino il giorno 14 bensì ogni volta che ricevo un regalino affettuoso da Luca, mi piace cercare e trovare idee carine da “copiare” per poi regalarle anche in altri momenti dell’anno. Sono ovviamente tutte adattabili a qualsiasi ricorrenza. Il primo potrebbe essere un bigliettino, un sorta di patchwork in carta oppure potrebbe diventare anche un quadretto se messo in un cornice. Se avete dei pezzi di carta da regalo rimasti inutilizzati o meglio ancora pezzi di stoffa, potreste benissimo mescolarli tra loro.

Se avete in casa del filo di ferro provate a fare questi quadretti carinissimi, io ancora non ho provato a realizzarli, ma credo che non siano difficilissimi… e devo dire che li trovo stupendi! Non parliamo poi della gabbietta con l’uccellino in stoffa appeso. Per realizzare l’uccellino nei quadretti potreste anche farlo di carta, semplicemente ricreate la sagoma su un pagina ingiallita di un vecchio libro , oppure potreste acquistarli già fatti nei centri di hobbistica o nei negozi di fiori più riforniti. Io opterei per la prima soluzione, e le più esperte devono fare l’uccellino in stoffa.

La festa di San Valentino è alle porte, io non lA festeggio quasi mai, non amo le feste commerciali, preferisco le soprese senza motivo, un regalino, un fiorellino colto dal giardino... Capisco però che non siamo tutti uguali quindi per voi che lo festeggerete ho trovato girellando nel web queste immagini per darvi spunto per pensierini carini per la vostra dolce metà o per la persona che Volete conquistare con un gesto semplice.

Comprate quelle deliziose caramelle colorate con il cuore di cioccolato mettetele in una bottiglieta in vetro vuota, ( ad esmpio quella dei succhi di frutta va benissimo) posizionatela sul tavolo di casa come segnaposto completandola con dei cuori di carta rossa che potrete attaccare sulla bottiglia, spargere sul tavolo. Se invece uscite a cena chiudete la bottiglia con un pezzo di carta velina colorata stropicciandolo e infilandolo nel collo della bottiglia(in modo che non escano le caramelline) lasciandone fuoriuscire un pò, avvolgete un bel nastino all'esterno della bottiglia e il regalino dolce è pronto.
Sono idee carine di poco costo, facili e veloci da fare anche per gli ometti un po imbranati...

Buongiorno, la primavera non è sicuramente alle porte, ma noi donne siamo pronte per lo shopping primaverile...vero??? Oggi un altro outfit, spotivo questa volta. La camicetta in seta color miele mi ha trafitto gli occhi... La abbinerei ad un bel paio di jeans, stivali marroni comodi con tacco basso, un trench a pois neri (..se lo trovo questa primavera non me lo lascio scappare..) e la borsa in stoffa pesante con brilllantini argenati...

La chiave volgio metterla in unn quadretto da appendere in casa, e tutto il resto ancora non ha un destinazione d'uso, ma non mi scoraggio, prima o poi li userò.

Ciao ragazze, oggi voglio mostrarvi una ricetta carina per le vostre festicciole:I pop corn dolci fati in casa.

Hello girls, today I want to show you a recipe for your cute little parties: The Fates sweet popcorn at home.

INGREDIENTI:

1. un sacchetto di popcorn per microonde (oppure i semi normale vanno ancora meglio )

2. In una casseruola sciogliere 1/2C. burro, 1/3c. zucchero di canna e 3 cucchiai di sciroppo di mais

3. Una volta che sono sciolti aggiungere il colorante, qualsiasi colore chevi piace, mescolare fino a quando il tutto è uniforme

4. Versare il composto sopra i popcorn e mescolate

5. Infine, spargili su un foglio di carta da forno,spruzzate il foglio con lo spray da cucine apposito per non far attaccare i poop corn al foglio stesso (abbiamo capito che il mod piu’ valido!), E cuocere in forno a 300F per 10 minuti.

6. Lasciate raffreddare e buon divertimento!

INGREDIENTS

1. Pop one bag of microwave popcorn (plain is best)

2. In a sauce pan melt 1/2c. butter, 1/3c. brown sugar and 3tbsp of light corn syrup

3. Once that is melted add on package of Jello, whichever color you like, stir until combined

4. Pour mixture over popcorn and stir it up

5. Finally, spread out onto a foil lined baking sheet that has been sprayed with non stick cooking spray (we figured that one out the hard way!), and bake in a 300F oven for 10 mins.

6. Let cool and enjoy!

Oggi ragazze, ho scelto questo negozietto francese. Non mi risulta facile spesse volte realizzare i progetti che la mia mente elabora è roprio vero ch e”tra il dire e il fare c’è di mezzo il mare” non che io abbia chissà quali idee difficili però capita che mi costruisco in testa il progetto poi quando vado per realizzarlo non ci riesco. Ecco perché apprezzo tanto le persone creative come Chani, la padrona di casa di questo esty shop. Oggetti semplici di poche pretese ma ben fatti e con il loro carattere. Il mio nome è Chani progetto e realizzo tutti gli articoli fatti a mano di Blanc and Caramel.

Mi sono trasferito dalla Svizzera a Parigi, quando mi sono sposata nel 2006, e abbiamo un figlio piccolo dolce.

Da sempre ho amato lavorazione e la creazione ed è sempre stato un sogno che rincorrevoa mia attività e realizzare le mie creazioni. Blanc & Carmelo (francese per il Bianco e Carmelo) fatto questo sogno.

Tutte le mie creazioni sono realizzate a mano nel mio studio di Parigi lavorazione con materiali accuratamente selezionati e soprattutto francese. Il mio lavoro è influenzato dalla mia vita quotidiana a Parigi, brocantes e mercatini dove posso trovare oggetti d'epoca unici e antichi con cui lavorare. Il mio amore per gli elementi in stile country è ispirato dalla natura nella campagna svizzera, dove sono cresciuto e bei posti che ho visitato come il sud della Francia o degli Stati Uniti.

Blanc & Carmelo aperto nel mese di aprile 2010 e ci sono molte molte più idee in attesa di essere realizzato!

My name is Chani and I'm Blanc & Caramel's designer of all handmade items.

I moved from Switzerland to Paris when I got married in 2006 and we have a sweet little son.

Ever since, I've loved crafting and creating and it has always been my dream to run my own business and realize my own creations. Blanc & Caramel (French for White and Caramel) made this dream come true.

All my own creations are handmade in my Paris crafting studio with carefully selected and mainly French materials. My work is influenced by my everyday life in Paris, brocantes and flea markets where I find unique and antique vintage items to work with. My love for country style items is inspired from the nature in the Swiss countryside where I grew up and beautiful places I've visited like the south of France or the United States.

Blanc & Caramel opened in April 2010 and there are many many more ideas waiting to be realized!

Il matrimonio immortalato in questo servizio mi ha colpito moltissimo. I colori, la location, i dettagli, e se in alcuni momenti della vita sono logorroica oggi resto in silenzio ad ammirare queste immagini che si narrano da sole…..

Piano piano ogni pezzetto del puzzle prende posto.

Nelle foto qui sotto vi mostro le tende cheho scelto per la mi a camera da letto. Le tende in cotone son della jardin d'ulisse, che adoro. La scelta è stat approvata in pieno da Luca, per me è sempre fondamentale avere la sua opinione, promossa anche dalla mamma che in genere è spietata nei giudizi ma questa volta ha detto un "si, mi piace" subito, senza tentennamenti.

La tenda in questione è nell'immagin qui sopra che forse non rende molto, ma l'idea di avere ipois in camera mi alletta...sapete che mi piacciono molto i pois. Spero che non risulti troppo "bomboniera" ma già da questa foto dove i colori sono molto simili a quelli della nostra camera, il risultato sembra molto gradevole.

Vendon anche altri comlementi fatti con la stessa stoffa, come la coperta il cuore le lampade ma credo sia troppo.... mi acontento delle tende.

Adorabili, eterei, facili da fare ed economici. I pon pom fatti di carta velina colorata sono una decorazione che a me piace molto. Peccato non averci pensato per il matrimonio, ma quando sei tu in prima persona a dover pianificare tutto, inevitabilmente ci si dimentica di molte cose.

La carta velina è facilmente reperibile in qualsiasi colore, il prezzo è davvero ridicolo, credo che un foglio costo all’incirca 3 centesimi.

Se dovete organizzare una festicciola i pom pom fanno al caso vostro. Scegliete la palette di colori che più vi aggrada e seguite le istruzioni che vi mostro qui sotto, prese dal sito di Marta Stewart.

I live with my boyfriend and our four cats in a big old 6 room flat in a town called Örnsköldsvik in the northern part of Sweden. I own and work in an interiordesign shop together with my mother. I love the white and frayed look in old furniture and it´s the the french/danish rutic country style that is closest to my heart. But I think that everyone should choose bits and pieces from diffrent interiordesign styles that they like and mix it together. Le pareti spoglie in una stanza la rendono inevitabilmente triste e senza carattere. Non amo particolarmente i classici quadri ma preferisco di gran lunga mettere fotografie. I muri di casa nostra sono proprio tristi. Si lo ammetto. Non abbiamo appeso ancora niente. Il tempo è sempre poco, ma il fattore che gioca a mio sfavore è che non riesco mai a decidere dove mettere e cosa mettere. È sempre un dilemma!

Da quando mi sono sposata avverto smepre più la voglia di trasformarmi in un vera donna, mi riferisco allo stile dell'abbigliamento. Per diversi motivi in ufficio siamo tutti molto "sportivi" ma, a volte, questo genere mi va stretto.

Mi piacciono i brillantini, e queste ballerine sono favolose,mi piace sia colore che le decorazione applicate.

Mi piacciono un sacco le donne che si contraddistinguono per il loro gusto personale cosa che credo a me manchi forse a causa del fatto che non sono per niente esperta di moda...anzi...

Se i famosi Enzo e Carla (di "ma come ti vesti") venissero a rovistare nel mio armadio rimarrebbe di certo poca roba....forse le borse...

oggi un pò di ispirazione per chi in questo periodo ha deciso di sposarsi e non sa da dove cominciare. Innanzitutto mi sento in dovere di dirvi di mantenere la calma soprattutto per voi ragazze che starete già contando i giorni che mancano alla data fatidica.

se avete la possibiltà, assumete un wedding planner, è sicuramente un aiuto importante sia per la gestione di tutte le cose da scegliere e deidere ma anche psicologico...se nonconoscete l'ansia e lagitazione, in questo periodo potrete incontrarle facilmente dietro l'angolo.

Immaginatevi di essere in montagna con la vostra dolce metà, magari per festeggiare qualche ricorrenza speciale. Immaginate anche di trascorrere le vostre giornate sulla neve e rientrare la sera e soggiornare in un cottage magnifico come questo, dove si respira nettamente l’aria di montagna.

Chi ama lo stile shabby-schic ama senz’altro i pois. Trovo che si possano adattare a molte situazioni: a tavola per esempio una tovaglia grigia o color tortora a pois bianchi, l’alzata in ceramica per servire i dolci, le tovagliette all’americana per una merenda o un pranzo fugace. Ancora più simpatici saranno i muffin con i contenitori a pois.

Who loves the shabby-style schic definitely loves polka dots. I find that can adapt to many situations: for example, a tablecloth on the table gray or light brown with white polka dots, the ceramic up to serve cakes, place mats for snack or lunch fleeting. Even more funny are the muffins with the polka dot containers.

Su esty si trova veramente di tutto, e questi sacchetti in carta a pois mi piacciono veramente molto. Ho l’abitudine di comprare anche quando non ho ancora idea di come userò ciò che compro, mi piace avere una sorta di “magazzino” per essere sempre pronta ad ogni evenienza. Credo che questi sacchetti al più presto saranno miei.

Non parliamo poi dei vestiti. Inutile dire che vestire una bimba con i pois è senz’altro un vezzo di tutte le mamme. E per chi riesce ad osare ( come già detto dovrei fare anche io qualche volta) anche per noi donne i pois sono eleganti e raffinati.

Se potessi queste calze le indosserei anche io, ma un conto è “osare” un conto è essere ridicole….sono senz’altro adatte per i piccoli.

avevo voglia di un paio di orecchini neri pendenti, ma semplici e con un tocco di romanticismo.

Sono così fissata, e credo quasi che sia patologico, essere cosi innamorata del natale che quando i negozi dopo le feste mettono in saldo le decorazioni le compro pensando a dove le metterò il prossimo anno..

I'm so determined and I think it's almost pathological be fixed on christmas that when the stores after the holidays bring into balance the decorations i buy them already thinking about whre i will put them the next year..

Girovagando per le vie di reggio emilia mi sono imbattuta in negozietto molto carino e raffinato dove ho trovato queste palle color tortora con pois bianchi e altre in vetro ... erano scontate del 50% quindi non potevo lasciarmele scappare non trovate?

Wandering the streets of Reggio Emilia, I came across very nice and elegant shop where I found these balls light brown with white polka dots and other glass ... were discounted by 50% so I could not let it go is not it?

I meravigliosi vasi delle SIA che vedete nella foto sono un regalo di babbo natale. Come al solito "qulacuno" non ha mantenuto le promesse e nela sua letterina li ha chiesti per me.... A SNOWY DREAM

Io sono stata una sposa d’inverno, con la grande speranza che quel giorno cadesse qualche fiocco di neve ad incorniciare il sogno che avrei vissuto. Quando decidemmo la data (per chi non sapesse il giorno preciso è stato il 5/12/2010) la maggior parte delle persone era stranita di fronte ad una scelta inusuale. Erano tutti preoccupati del freddo che ci sarebbe stato, o la pioggia, o ancor peggio la nebbia, insomma apparivamo come due pazzi che volevano sposarsi “al freddo”.

Noi eravamo cosi felici di distinguerci dalla maggior parte delle coppie che scelgono il periodo primaverile-estivo, che il fattore “meteo” non ci ha mai assolutamente preoccupato. Io avrei desiderato tanto la neve. Sarebbe stato un tocco magico indimenticabile per tutti.

Quando vedo sul web, matrimoni come questo dove la neve regna sovrana, ci lascio il cuore. E me ne innamoro.

We were so happy to stand out from most of the couples who choose the spring-summer period, that the factor "weather" there has never quite worried. I would have wanted so much snow. Would be an unforgettable experience for all magic touch.

When I see on the web, weddings like this where the snow is everywhere, we leave the heart. And I fall in love.

THE CURTAINS OF THE KICHEN

Con l'inizio del nuovo anno finalmente sono riuscita a realizzare parte di un obbiettivo che da tempo avevo in programma. Ho finalmente trovato le tende per la cucina senza le quali non ci era permesso tenere le imposte completamente aperte a causa dei vicini di casa per niente discreti. Non essendo molto luminosa la nostra cucina, ho messo le tende a metà vetro, in lino francese colore naturale, delle jardin d'ulisse.

With the start of the new year I'm finally able to realize part of a goal that had long been planned. I finally found the curtains for the kitchen without which we were not allowed to keep the shutters fully open because of the neighbors at all discreet. Not being very bright our kitchen, put the tents in the middle glass, French linen, natural color, the jardin d'Ulisse.

Non pensavo fosse cosi difficile scegliere le tende, mancano ancora in salotto e in camera da letto... per me è un vero dilemma scegliere i colori e la sotffa che valorizzino la stanza. Ho già messo l'occhio su alcune possibilità ma non ho ancora definitavemente scelto. Un passo alla volta, e ben ponderato credo che sia meglio per non sbagliare visti i costi ingenti per avere tende di buona fattura.

I did not think it was so difficult to choose the curtains, there are still in the living room and bedroom ... is a real dilemma for me to choose the colors and sotffa that enhance the room. Qualche giorno fa pensavo che non ho mai provato a pitturare con gli acquerelli. Mi piace molto la tecnica dell’acquerello. Mi sono innamorata dei libri di Beatrix Potter con il suo “Peter Coniglio”, e sono anni che dico di comprarne almeno uno, poi mi passa dalla mente e ancora oggi ne sono sprovvista. L illustrazioni dei suoi libri in origine erano fatte ad acquerello. Hanno quel non so che di country e shabby… il nostro mondo ragazze!!!

Il modo di Esty non si smentisce mai e guardate cosa ho trovato???? Li trovo semplicemente adorabili!!!

A few days ago, I thought I never tried to paint with watercolors. I really like the watercolor technique. I love the books of Beatrix Potter with her "Peter Rabbit", and for years I say I buy at least one, then I go from your mind and still are lacking. The illustrations of his books were originally done in watercolor. They do not know what that shabby country and our world ... girls!

Io sono una sognatrice nata, e come ben sapete il natale mi appartiene e lo aspetto tutto il tempo dell’anno. Non ho ancora tolto le decorazioni a casa, e nei giorni scorsi durante uno dei pomeriggi di shopping con Luca, ho comprato queste palline nuove per l’anno prossimo.
Il bello di acquistare in questo periodo è che si trovano cose carine e scontate, queste palle avevano il 50% di sconto. E’ stato un vero affare !!!!

CIAO RAGAZZE!

HELLO GIRLS!

Più o meno tutte saremo rientrate al lavoro, aimè il rientro è duro per tutti.

Tra i miei propositi per il nuovo anno c’è la dieta, si si ragazze, sono sempre stata giunonica, e con le feste le mie rotondità sono aumentate. Quando si decide di iniziare “la dieta” noi donne pensiamo anche a nuovi capi da indossare, al vestitino che non mi sono mai comprata, e alle scarpe luccicose e carine che adoro tanto da abbinare ad una borsa nuova e capiente che contenga tutto ciò che serve, come quella di Mary Poppins.

A volte noi donne morbide non osiamo nel vestire ma tendiamo a nasconderci sotto capi informi e anonimi. Trovo che questo sia sbagliato, spesso è meglio “osare” e buttarsi. Lo penso convinta ma poi io sono la prima a non farlo…. Che disastro. Avrei bisogno di un personal shopper che mi indirizzi sullo stile da adottare.

Fatta questa premessa oggi io mi lancio con questo outfit, con la speranza che un giorno io possa indossarlo…

More or less we all returned to work, alas the return is hard for everyone.

One of my resolutions for the New Year's diet, you are girls, have always been Juno, and during these holidays my roundness have increased. When you decide to start "diet" , women think also wear new garments, the dress that I never bought it, shining pretty shoes, that I love, much be matched to a new and capacious bag that contains everything which serves as one of Mary Poppins.

Sometimes we women do not dare to soft in dress but we tend to hide under shapeless garments and anonymous. I find that this is wrong, it is often better to "dare" and jump. I think so but then I am convinced the first not to do it .... What a disaster. I need a personal shopper who addresses me in the style to be adopted.

Having said that I now launch with this outfit, with the hope that one day I can wear it ...

Il riposo è necessario ed è sacro durante le feste di fine anno. Sono passate due settimane ed ora si riparte con la vita frenetica di tutti i giorni. Prima di tutto auguro a tutte voi un sereno e felice anno nuovo!!!!

Oggi voglio mostrarvi la nuova parure in pietre dure che ho creato per la mia mamma. Collana e orecchini in ametista viola.

Come ogni anno sotto all’albero avevamo tanti pacchettini, alcuni erano proprio pensieri, altri no..erano veri e propri “ rwgali”. Infatti i miei cari hanno esagerato e ci hanno regalato il frizer nuovo.

Like every year we had so many parcels under the tree, were just some thoughts, some do not .. they were real "gifti". For my loved ones have gone too far and gave usa the freezer .

Ragazze voi state tutte bene? avete qualche novità?...in queste settimane passate sono mancate totalmente dal mondo del pc , ho staccato la spina da tutto.... scrivetemi!!!!!

DINNER WITH FRIENDS

Quandi decidiamo di invitare a cena degli amici, cerco sempre di accoglierli al meglio e sorprenderli un pò. Per questa cena ho pensato fosse un idea carina fare i biscotti di zenzero e cannella e usarli sia nel centrotavole sia come segnaposti per gli ospiti.

When we decide to invite some friends to dinner, I always try to accommodate you better and a little surprise. For this dinner I thought was a nice idea to bake cookies with ginger and cinnamon and use them both in the centerpieces or as placeholders for the guests.

Forse non mi fa onore l'aver utilizzato lo stesso mazzo di fiori che ho messo in tavola per la vigilia di Natale, ma mi spiaceva buttarl visto che erano ancora freschi.

ho "impacchettato" i biscottini a stella come se fossero regali, non potevano certo mancare i cuori.

Maybe I'm not the honor of having used the same flowers that I put on the table for Christmas Eve, but I was sorry buttarl since they were still fresh.
I "packed" the star-shaped cookies as if they were gifts, they could hardly miss hearts.

ogni commensale aveva nel piatto il biscotto con il suo nome, le donne avevano la femminuccia e gli iumini il maschietto.Alla fine dela cena i vbiscotti sono spariti...:-)

each diner had the biscuit on the plate with his name, the women had the girl and the men and boys. At the end of dinner biscuits are gone .... :-)

Alle due donne ospiti ho regalato un giacinto bianco in ricordo della serata.

I gave the two women guests a white hyacinth in memory of the evening.
